When you join the communities you can post blogs to that community or post to the comment wall. So you can use that to have your own game nights or setup matches or whatever you want to do. Look over on the right and you will see community blog. If you click on that it takes you to the blog and you can post.

There are groups that you can join which will focus on different games and interest. Just click on browse and community. You will see a list of groups you can join. Once there you can blog and talk about other things of interest.
